Features

Yes. Gladio Mori supports cross-play between Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with up to four players in online arenas.
That is stated directly on the Steam store page, and for this particular game it is not a bullet point — it is the difference between a fighting game with opponents and a fighting game with a menu.

Why cross-play matters more here than usual
Every online fighting game dies the same way. The population splits across three storefronts, each pool shrinks below the level where matchmaking can pair you with someone of your skill, the queue gets long, the matches get lopsided, and people stop queueing — which makes the queue longer.
Gladio Mori is a mid-size indie release, not a tournament staple. Split across three platforms it would have three pools that are individually too small. Merged, it has one that might hold. That is the whole argument, and it applies to the new multiplayer releases far more than it does to the games with fifty thousand concurrent players.
What the game actually is
A physics-driven gladiator fighting game with no health bars. Damage is applied to the part of the body it lands on.
Injuries are local, so where you hit changes the fight
Per the store page: damage a muscle and that limb loses strength. Sever an artery and the fighter starts bleeding out. Pierce a vital organ and the fight can end immediately. Hands, arms and legs can be cut off entirely.
Removing the health bar removes the comeback maths
In a conventional fighter you track a number, and while that number is above zero you are theoretically fine. Here a fighter with a damaged arm is losing before any total has been depleted. It makes the state of a match readable from the bodies rather than the UI — and it makes a bad exchange much harder to recover from.
Movesets and fighters are player-made
You build your own attacks and paint your fighter, or use creations shared by other players. That shared-creation layer is another thing that only works with a single merged population.
The honest caveat
Three things worth knowing.
83% is the lowest score in the chart’s top twenty
Most of this week’s chart sits above 90%. Gladio Mori is at 83% from 1,375 reviews — which is a far more meaningful sample than the small-count perfect scores further down the list, and also a clear signal that a meaningful minority is unhappy. We have not analysed the negative reviews and are not going to characterise them without doing so.
Cross-play being listed is not the same as cross-play being healthy
The store page confirms the feature. It does not tell you how many people are actually in the pool at 11pm in your region, and that is the number that decides whether the ladder works. Nobody can answer that in launch week.
It is graphically violent by design
Steam’s content descriptor states the game is fairly stylized but includes unrealistic and frequent violence. Severed limbs and arterial bleeding are core mechanics, not incidental effects. If you are choosing something to play with people in the room, that is worth knowing in advance.
