Team Metacarpo is the developer of Monster Alchemy, a creature-crafting RPG published with Vsoo Games and released into Steam Early Access on 10 September 2026.

The studio’s pitch inverts the defining verb of its genre. Twenty-five years of creature collectors have been built on finding a monster in the wild and catching it; Team Metacarpo’s design starts from an empty bestiary and asks you to synthesise every creature in it. That is a harder sell and a much harder balance problem, which is presumably why the game shipped in Early Access.
