Oduvan Games is the developer of Frontier: Path of Shadows, an XCOM-inspired tactical RPG published by 3_PUBLISHING and released on Steam on 10 September 2026.

The studio’s stated design position is worth noting because it is a specific bet rather than a slogan: they describe taking what works in XCOM and Final Fantasy and “stripping away unnecessary coin-flipping”. Determinism is the single most divisive choice a turn-based tactics developer can make, and committing to it in a debut is what makes this studio interesting.
