Corgi Corgi Cor! is a free desktop companion. A corgi moves onto your screen, walks between your windows and across connected monitors, reacts to your activity, and can run, bark, beg, sniff, eat, drink, sleep and occasionally make a small mess for you to clean up. A companion panel lets you interact with it and check how it is feeling, and your daily routine gradually shapes its habits and personality. It is developed and published by Crazish Games.
Chart credential: #31 on the Steam 250 best games of the week chart as a new entry, with a score of 7.18 from 34 reviews. Released 7 September 2026.
Key features
Multi-monitor awareness is what sells a desktop pet
Moving naturally between connected monitors and resting beside windows is the difference between a companion and an overlay. A desktop pet fails the moment it ignores the shape of your workspace, because the illusion depends entirely on it treating your actual screen furniture as terrain.
Personality accrues from your routine, not from a menu
Habits and personality develop from how and when you interact. That is a slow-burn hook: the reward for leaving it running for a month is a corgi that behaves differently from someone else’s, without the game ever asking you to configure anything.
Small messes give a passive toy a reason to be checked
Needs, moods and the occasional mess create just enough obligation to make you look at the corner of the screen. Without any upkeep at all a desktop pet becomes wallpaper; the cleaning is what keeps it in the category of thing you tend rather than thing you installed.
