ShipShaper exports FBX and STL with a licence to use the results in your own game, 3D print, board game or mod. That is the feature that separates it from a builder toy: most creation games keep your output locked inside their own save format, so the time you spend is only worth what the game gives back. Organic shaping instead of stacking blocks

Ship builders usually mean voxels or parts snapped to a grid, which rewards patience over design sense. ShipShaper works by deforming forms directly, so no 3D skills are required and the shape you are imagining is the shape you manipulate.

It analyses what you built and then sails it

When a hull is finished the game reads its propulsion, hull shape and weight and gives it sailing behaviour derived from the design. That closes the loop — a pretty ship that handles badly tells you something a screenshot cannot.
