Key features

The backpack grid is the battlefield

Every hero occupies slots. Slots are limited. One powerful Super Hero takes more space than several flexible ordinary ones, and the whole strategic question is how you spend the grid for this particular level.

This is the Backpack Hero lineage applied to tower defence, and it works for the same reason: a spatial constraint forces a real trade-off on every pickup, where a simple cost constraint would just ask “can I afford the better unit”.

Twelve heroes who do different jobs

Piggy Girl generates coins. Slingshot Boy bounces ranged damage. The Blacksmith grants armour to adjacent allies. Sandbag Kid knocks enemies back. Adjacency matters, so placement is not just packing — it is deciding who stands next to whom.

Merging into Super Heroes

Eleven orange-tier Super Heroes are built by merging common units, which gives the grid a second axis: do you keep six working villagers or compress them into one specialist and free the space?

What $2.79 buys and what it does not

Fifty chapters, twelve heroes, eleven Super Heroes. That is a lot of structure for under three dollars, and the 95% rating reflects people who feel they got more than they paid for.

It is also a 21-review game from a small studio, single-player only, with no controller support. The Chinese-village setting and art are charming but the English text shows some translation roughness. Treat it as a very good three-dollar strategy game, not a polished tentpole.
