Orc Incremental is an incremental auto battler about building an unstoppable dark army from a single orc. You draw cards to add units and totems to a warband, set formations, ascend for permanent power bonuses, and watch the army fight. It is developed by Nice Ride and published by Playsaurus.

Chart credential: #33 on the Steam 250 best games of the week chart as a new entry, with a score of 7.15 from 83 reviews. Released 8 September 2026.

Key features

Card draft plus formation gives idle progress two failure modes

Drawing units is luck; placing them is not. Splitting the build across a random draft and a deliberate formation means a stalled run has a diagnosable cause — you were denied the unit, or you positioned it wrong. Idle games that only scale a number cannot tell the player which of those happened, and that is usually where they lose people.

Totems make passive bonuses a build decision

Totems supply army-wide passives that can change how the whole warband performs, so the interesting slot is not always the strongest unit. That is what keeps the draft from collapsing into taking the highest rarity every time, which is the standard drift in auto battlers with a rarity ladder.

Ascension is designed to move the wall, not remove it

Rebirth grants permanent bonuses so each run hits harder, but the scaling continues past it. The design intent is that the wall you failed at becomes an early checkpoint rather than the ceiling, which is what distinguishes a compulsive incremental from one that resolves into a finished number after a weekend.
