There is no map you can trust. The corridor you came from will not be the corridor you go back through.

Memory is your map

Spray the walls, drop chalk, leave objects behind. Find old hand-drawn paper maps and work out which ones are lying. A compass helps, until it does not.

Harvest what hunts you

Scavenge and inject yourself with things that may save you or rewrite you entirely.
