YukimiSoft is the developer and publisher of if you stay, a free PC-98 inspired visual novel set in winter 1999. The game climbed +4 places to #20 on the Steam 250 weekly chart in October 2026 with a 97% positive rating from 93 reviews.

The studio releases in the PC-98 visual style that has become a recognisable corner of the Steam visual novel scene, using it here for period accuracy — a 1990s Japanese setting rendered in the look of a 1990s Japanese computer — rather than as retro horror shorthand.
