Playdead

Playdead is the Danish studio behind INSIDE (2016, Metacritic 87) and LIMBO (2010), two of the most acclaimed indie games ever released. Both are narrative platformers told without dialogue, text or HUD, built on precise physics puzzles and atmosphere.

What defines a Playdead game

A small protagonist in a hostile world, no explanation of any kind, environmental puzzles that double as storytelling, and an ending designed to be argued about. The studio has never released a game that tells you what it means.
