Key features
Extraction stakes without other players
Extraction shooters normally get their tension from human opponents who can take your gear. CONVRGENCE is single-player and generates that pressure from a nightfall timer and uninsured equipment instead, which means the dread is scheduled rather than social.
The dog is a mechanic, not a mascot
A companion dog accompanies every raid. In VR, where you cannot glance at a minimap without breaking presence, an animal that reacts to what is nearby is a genuinely different way to deliver information.
Procedural zones stop route memorisation
The Anomaly Zone regenerates, so the usual extraction-shooter endgame — learning the map until raids become routine — does not arrive. Every run has to be read fresh.
Where to find CONVRGENCE

Who made CONVRGENCE
Monkey-With-a-Bomb developed and self-published CONVRGENCE, and previously made the VR title Paradox of Hope. More on the Monkey-With-a-Bomb studio page.
